Stephanie Catanzaro, Executive Director

Stephanie Catanzaro is humbled to serve as Executive Director of Springboro Wind Symphony, and plans to help continue to bring success and excellence for SWS and the community. Stephanie received her undergraduate degree in Music Education from Wright State University where she studied with Dr. Randall Paul. At Wright State, Stephanie was a winner of the Concerto Night Competition. In 2021, she received her master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Executive Leadership from Liberty University. She also received her Professional Coaching Certification from Fowler International Business Academy.

Stephanie started her career as a band director and elementary music teacher for Dayton Public Schools. During her years at DPS, she began an after-school practice program that helped mentor students in their musical journey. For 12 years, Stephanie operated SNC Music Studio LLC, where she taught students from all over the Miami Valley. During that time, SNC students were accepted into many prestigious universities including New England Conservatory and Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Many of Stephanie’s students received awards and superior ratings at OMEA solo and ensemble contest. In 2016, a clarinet quartet from the studio was chosen amongst only eight high schools across the U.S. to participate in the Music for All National Festival.

In addition to her work as a leader, performer and music educator, Stephanie is also a certified business coach. She coaches small businesses, non-profits, and individuals in career transition. Through her coaching work, Stephanie guides businesses, organizations, and individuals to become the best version of themselves.

As a professional clarinetist, Stephanie has performed with the Air Force Band of Flight, Springfield Symphony, Dayton Philharmonic Concert Band, Springboro Wind Symphony, School House Symphony, and Ara Winds. She has performed across Asia, Europe, and the United States. She also attended Interlochen Arts Camp and was on staff at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. Stephanie has performed in masterclasses with world renowned clarinetists David Shifren (Yale University) and Stanley Drucker (New York Philharmonic). She has also adjudicated music competitions throughout the region and toured many high schools giving masterclasses and performances. In her spare time, Stephanie loves running and spending time with her husband and toddler son.
